May 13th Rob getting ready to assume the position at "you know where" again... May 12th This is Shane and Jake's evening catch off the island. Looks like some good filets tonight for dinner! May 11th Here's Mark preparing to exit a solid afternoon shack at you know where. May 10th Another WPM guest getting shacked at bv's. Thanks for the shots Luke! May 9th Here's Rob up to his usual tricks at bv's. Coming from a chilly autumn, Rob has to shack up in the shade to avoid getting excessively burnt on his first couple days. Then he decides he likes it in there and does that for the rest of the trip. May 8th May 7th May 6th May 5th
May 4th We're having some technical difficulties getting shots of the day sent from the island, so for now, without giving names or locations, here's some "best of" wipeouts from this trip. May 3rd Here's Mark going deep for some tube time at bv's. With the 205 swell and high tide, there was more breaking way up the point than on the normal corner, and Mark spied that like he had surfed there a million times before. May 2nd Another difficult day to choose shot of the day. Would it be Laka's barrel all the way across the reef? Nah, too many photos in that sequence. Would it be Joe's smoking bomb, mmmmm. In the end, it's Jeff's pure and simple drop into the pit of death. You've seen it here, the official peak of the swell, May 2nd. May 1st Really, really bad day to have to choose shot of the day. Alice ended up with 400 pictures that pretty much all look like this. I chose this one of Jeff in his umpteenth barrel with Marty on the shoulder claiming for him. April 30th Matt having a go at the fastest left in the WavePark. The photos never show how fast you have to go to make the sections, but the ONLY way to make the sections is to pull in, so you're bound to get barreled at some point. April 29th Here's Ron getting acquainted with Hideaways while we wait for the swell to pick up. The session was a snap and cutback competition, and somehow Ron managed to get fit both moves into one. April 28th A little of the west swell started showing this morning, enough for the return guests to start getting their bearings again on the home break. Where to sit, which ones to take, and in Joe's case which part of the lip to send flying. April 27th Here's Jonathan sharing the secret spot with just two others. Another windless, baking, marathon session. "Not bad for being flat". April 26th Late afternoon session at secret spot with just the boys. Bubba here putting it up in the lip at high speed with the approval of his buddy. April 25th Here's Ron testing out Hideaways on another early morning cooker. The sun has been cooking us all day long, without a breath of wind from anywhere. April 24th New guests arrive just in time for the remnants of the fading swell. Here is Paul enjoying the beginning of what he travelled all this way for. We are standing by to make your dreams a reality.
