What should I bring?

When do I need to arrive in Padang?
You will need to arrive in Padang on the day before the trip starts.

Do I have to spend the night in Padang?
Yes, you will need to spend one night in Padang on your way to the island, and one night in Padang on the last day of your trip. Both nights are mandatory. We can help recommend and book hotels for your night(s) in Padang.

What time does the transfer boat leave?
During regular season, the speedboat transfer is scheduled to depart at 7am the first day of the trip.

What time can I fly out of Padang?
You’ll need to spend a night in Padang at the end of your trip, and can fly out the following morning.

Are Padang-Resort speedboat transfers included?
Yes, the value of the speedboat transfer is $500 US and is included in your price already.

How can I pay for the trip?
We accept trip payment by Telegraphic (Wire) Transfer, credit card or PayPal.

Will someone pick me up at the airport / how do I get to the transfer boat?
Yes, airport pick up, airport-hotel-harbor transfers are included in your price. Our office in Padang takes care of you from the moment you step off the plane, until you go home again.

How many guests does the resort take?
We take 12 surfers per trip, but can accommodate more for exclusive island bookings.

Do you have wifi?
Yes. The first two hours are complimentary. Use thereafter is charged at Rp. 5,000 / minute ($0.40 USD). The charges for internet max out at Rp. 700,000 ($50 USD), so that is the most you will pay for as much internet as you want to use. If you are the only person online, our connection is fast enough to video chat, but the more people online the slower it gets.

Are there waves for intermediate/average ability surfers?
Yes, we’re lucky enough to be in a wave rich area – something for everyone. We call them our “fun” and “challenging” waves, and the information is available in the surfing section of the website.
